About Mallory Hauser

Mallory Hauser a Los Angeles-based visual artist and independent musician. Hauser contributes vocals, guitar, synthesizer, keyboards and percussion to their recordings under their solo project, ‘Mal.’ They released their debut EP ‘In Free Fall’ in January, 2021. 

Mal formed Another Bummer with Bella Porter and Madi Vogt, releasing their self-titled EP in February, 2020 with producer Tyler Chester (Madison Cunningham, Andrew Bird). As a side person, they have performed and toured with Mk.gee, Illuminati Hotties, NoSo, Mini Trees, Trousdale, Rett Madison and Bella Porter. In addition to producing their own projects, they have produced artists Sam Weber, Another Bummer, and new artist-to-watch Eliza Vera. 

Mal’s solo debut ‘In Free Fall’ EP was self-produced and featured Henry Solomon (Haim, Thumpasaurus). The release was accompanied by custom hand-sewn apparel and a virtual web gallery of original photography, visual art and music videos from the EP.

In September 2021, Mal supported Sam Weber on his West Coast tour and performed as a member of his band. They will be opening for Illuminati Hotties’ European tour in Spring 2022.
